Liz leads Meta’s EMEA indirect tax team and is responsible for indirect tax strategy, planning, compliance, audit, and litigation. Meta built its own Global Compliance process management tool in 2019. She also collaborates with Meta’s Tax and Regional Policy team to engage with fiscal and tax policy makers and regulators in EMEA to ensure Meta’s compliant with new tax regulatory regimes.
Misha leads the product development of invoicing programs at Google, which include global e-invoicing and regulatory billing compliance. In his role, he is responsible for setting the product vision and strategy for the compliance programs, as well as collaborating closely with Google's finance, controllership, and tax teams on the global launches of e-invoicing/CTC implementations. Misha is a regular speaker at e-invoicing events worldwide.
Rob van der Woude is Chief Tax Officer at Fonoa. Rob has spent many years at the intersection of tax and technology, including as Head of International Tax at Uber. Prior to that Rob worked at EY in the Corporate Tax division.
Alexander is a Tax Technology specialist at Fonoa with in-depth knowledge of indirect taxes impacting the platform and online economy. Prior to joining Fonoa, Alexander was the Global Head of Tax Technology at Uber. At Uber, he and his team worked with internal and external stakeholders to design and build tools that automated tax compliance processes, for both internal use and external platform users.
