Henk Wildeboer started his career in 1985 with the Dutch Customs and Excise as auditor. In the years 1991 – 1995 he was a VAT advisor with E&Y. In 1995 he joined the Group Tax of Royal Philips electronics as Senior Indirect Tax Advisor. Within the Group Tax he is now Head VAT/GST and responsible for indirect taxes worldwide.
Mark Houtzager, EMEA Tax Leader, Starbucks
Mark Houtzager joined Starbucks in London 5 years ago as their Head of Tax. As such, he is responsible for a broad portfolio of tax and customs matters, including ongoing tax & business transformation. Specifically for VAT and Customs, his focus is on efficiently collecting transaction and logistics data in order to reconcile the finance data to support Starbucks’s various tax filings.
Eoin Fitzgerald, Indirect Tax Director, Dell
Eoin Fitzgerald currently holds the position of VAT Director at Dell, responsible for Indirect Tax in EMEA. Before his current position, Eoin held at Dell the position of Sr. Tax Manager for almost 6 years. Prior to joining Dell Eoin worked at BDO Ireland for 8 years, managing the VAT compliance of Fortune 500 companies like Google, Facebook, Twitter and SanDisk.
Peter Boerhof, VAT Director, Vertex
Peter Boerhof is the VAT Director for Vertex. Peter has extensive experience in international transactions, business restructuring, tax process optimization and tax automation. Prior to joining Vertex, Peter was responsible for leading the indirect tax function at AkzoNobel.
Srdjan Timotic, Senior Manager Tax, Lam Research
Srdjan Timotic is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with over 20 years of professional experience within the in-house finance and tax departments. Srdjan was appointed to the chair of the European Indirect Tax Committee at Tax Executives Institute (2019-2021) and is a board director of Tax Executives EMEA Chapter since 2020
